Nicole is deeply passionate about the transformative impact that bold movements can have on an individual’s confidence, growth, and development. Currently pursuing a degree in Psychology in Santa Barbara, she also holds twenty Early Childhood Education units from her undergraduate studies. Over the past seven years, Nicole has gained valuable experience working with young children and coaching in various disciplines. Her extensive background in both early childhood education and athletics brings a dynamic perspective to SB Trapeze, where she played a key role in launching our Tiny Flyers program.
As an acrobatics instructor at SBTC, Nicole facilitates trapeze classes and camps with an emphasis on safety, social-emotional learning, and student progression. As the Director of the Tiny Flyers program, she creates engaging and joyful experiences for children aged 3-5. Nicole’s dedication to fostering a nurturing environment ensures that each child not only makes friends and explores their imagination but also develops in a supportive setting. Her passion for working with children makes the Tiny Flyers program at SBTC an enriching and magical experience that promises lasting memories and personal growth.
When she’s not teaching, Nicole can often be found flying through the air herself. She is committed to building a solid foundation in her own flying skills to enhance her coaching, relishing the thrill of flight and the challenge of mastering new tricks. At Santa Barbara Trapeze Co., Nicole is excited to lead the Tiny Flyers program, offering a nurturing and fun experience for preschool-aged children—a valuable addition to local programming. She firmly believes in the significant impact that high-quality early childhood education can have on a child’s development as a lifelong learner.

I love to warm up with a yoga flow before a session.
What’s your favorite thing about teaching trapeze?
My favorite thing about teaching trapeze is seeing students’ confidence build each time they climb the ladder on to the board.
What’s your go-to song for training?
My go-to song is Can’t Stop by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, I’m convinced I can do anything if that song is playing.
What’s your favorite way to unwind after a day of training?
I love to cook a nutritious meal and go for a nice walk to the beach.
Do you have a favorite quote or mantra that motivates you?
My Aunt Brandi says “Never stop learning. Education is a lifelong journey.” Her words have always motivated me to seek lessons and growth in every scenario.
