Tiny Flyers is a preschool movement camp for potty-trained children ages 3 to 5 in Santa Barbara. Sessions run mornings 9:15 to 12:00 or afternoons 12:15 to 3:00 at a 4:1 coach ratio, using play-based movement to build body confidence and get little ones ready for a full school day. It runs $325 per week for a half-day session, or $625 per week for the full day. Prefer to come for a day? Drop-in days are available from $85.

Why It Works

Built for how little ones learn

"Before age 6, most children do not have the basic motor skills for organized sports. Balance and attention span are limited. What they need is free play, exploration, and the chance to discover what their bodies can do."

— American Academy of Pediatrics, Clinical Report (2019, reaffirmed 2023)

Tiny Flyers is not a watered-down version of the big-kid camp. It is built from the ground up for ages 3 to 5: get the wiggles out, build body confidence, and get ready for the structure of a full school day.

Through play. Through movement. Through safe risk-taking with a coach an arm's length away. Not drills. Not competition.

Getting ready for school

The goal is a kid who can sit, focus, and follow a routine. We get the wiggles out through movement so the school day has a fighting chance.

Tiny Flyers questions

What ages is Tiny Flyers for?

Ages 3 to 5, and campers must be potty-trained. The whole program is built around how children this age actually learn, through play and movement.

How much does it cost?

$325 per week for either the AM or PM session, $625 per week for the full day, or drop-in days from $85. Extended care from 8–9 AM and 3–4 PM is free.

AM or PM session, which is better?

Both run 2 hours 45 minutes at a 4:1 ratio. AM (9:15–12:00) suits early risers, PM (12:15–3:00) suits kids who nap in the morning. Pick what fits your day.

Does my child need to be potty-trained?

Yes. Potty training is required for Tiny Flyers. Coaches focus on movement and play, not diaper changes.

My kid has never done anything like this. Is that okay?

That is most of them. No experience needed. The point is discovering what their body can do, at a 4:1 ratio with a coach always close by.

They walk in cautious. They leave brave.

Play-based movement for ages 3 to 5, designed around what the research says little ones actually need. 4:1 ratio. Coaches who get it.
