Tiny Flyers Party FAQs

Everything you need to know about parties for ages 3–6.

Is this actually safe for a three-year-old? +

Yes. Tiny Flyers is purpose-built for ages 3 to 6 — scaled equipment, appropriate heights, and a 4:1 coaching ratio so every child has an instructor watching them at all times. We have been running this program for years. We know how to keep it safe without making it feel like a safety briefing.

My kid is shy and slow to warm up. Will they still have fun? +

Almost always. Our coaches are trained in early childhood movement and know exactly how to bring a hesitant kid into the activity without pressure or embarrassment. We never force it. But we also make it very hard to sit on the sidelines when everyone else is flying.

Can parents participate? +

Yes — and it helps. When a cautious kid sees a parent try the activity first and come back smiling, that's often what gets them off the bench. The option is there and we encourage it.

What is the group size limit? +

Tiny Flyers parties are intentionally small. We cap at 15 kids to maintain the coaching ratio and keep the energy manageable. If your group is larger, call us — we may be able to run concurrent groups with additional staff.

What about kids with sensory sensitivities or developmental differences? +

We have worked with sensory-sensitive kids and kids with a wide range of developmental needs for years. Call us before booking so we can talk through the environment — sounds, surfaces, transitions, and what the session looks like in practice. We want to confirm it's the right fit before you arrive.

What does my kid actually do during the party? +

A mix of structured movement stations and coached activities scaled for small bodies. Low bars, balance work, small jumps, rolling, and climbing — all coached by someone right there with them. The final portion opens into guided free exploration. It is active the entire time.

What should kids wear? +

Clothes they can move in and shoes with grip. Leggings or joggers work well. Avoid dresses, sandals, or hard soles. Simple and easy to move.

What if some kids in the group are outside the age range? +

If you have older siblings who want to join, call us. Depending on the mix, we may be able to accommodate or recommend adding a second program to keep everyone appropriately challenged.

How is this different from a kids' gym or bounce house party? +

The coaching. At a bounce house, kids bounce and parents watch. At a Tiny Flyers party, every child is being coached in real movement skills by an instructor who is actively with them. Kids leave with a genuine sense of accomplishment — not just sugar and tired legs.

Can we do this for a school class or daycare group? +

Yes — and we do this regularly. The format works well for preschool classes, daycare groups, and school field trips. Ask about our class party pricing if you're bringing a full group.
