Holiday Breaks That Build Braver Kids
Holiday camps are open. Ages 3 to 14, shortened weeks so you will still be able to celebrate the holiday, and a kid who comes home with pictures and videos to show their friends and family. Everyone flies at SB Trapeze.
Fall & Winter Break Camps in Santa Barbara (2026)
Santa Barbara Trapeze Co. runs three fall and winter break camps in downtown Santa Barbara. Trapeze Camp and Parkour Camp are for ages 6 to 14. These compacted camps keep everything that works about our summer weeks. The camper to coach ratio is never more than 6:1, so your child gets actual pointers and real encouragement while they burn off a week of school-break energy. Most campers arrive having never touched a fly bar. They finish the week swinging to a catch while their families watch from the ground.

Precision jumps, vaults, wall runs and safety rolls, coached in a progression built for every level. Kids who show up saying "I can't" leave saying "watch this."

Tiny Flyers Camp

Flying trapeze only · 4:1 ratio · half or full day
Small bodies, a low bar, a real rig, and coaches who have spent years teaching kids this size. Campers must be potty-trained. No parkour in this program.
All three camps run the same three weeks. Closed Thursday Nov 26 for Thanksgiving, Thursday Dec 24 and Friday Dec 25 for Christmas, and Friday Jan 1 for New Year’s Day.

Dr. Judy Osterhage
"Movement solves problems that talk can't reach. When children learn through their bodies, they build neural pathways that last a lifetime."
Dr. Judy holds an Ed.D. in Early Childhood Development and has spent 30+ years on how children learn. She shapes the camp curriculum so every activity fits the age it is built for, whether it is a first swing on the trapeze or a first clean vault.

Break weeks are short and they fill
Break camps are three short sessions, not twelve weeks, so there is far less room than in summer. Thanksgiving and the week after Christmas go first.

When do fall and winter break camps run?
Three sessions. Fall Break runs Mon Nov 23 – Fri Nov 27 (4 camp days, closed Thursday November 26). Winter Week 1 runs Mon Dec 21 – Wed Dec 23 (3 camp days). Winter Week 2 runs Mon Dec 28 – Thu Dec 31 (4 camp days).
What does each session cost?
Fall Break is $485, Winter Week 1 is $365, and Winter Week 2 is $485. Sessions are priced by the number of camp days, which works out to about $121 per day across all three. Tiny Flyers is priced separately, half day from $215 and full day from $365. Single days are $135 on every open weekday, or $85 for a Tiny Flyers half day.
What do kids actually do at break camp?
Trapeze Camp is flying trapeze for ages 6 to 14. Parkour Camp is vaults, jumps and safety rolls for the same ages. Tiny Flyers Camp is flying trapeze only for ages 3 to 5 at a 4:1 ratio. Campers rotate between the rig and the parkour space all day, then perform what they built at the showcase on the last day.
Which days are you closed?
Thursday November 26 for Thanksgiving, December 24 and 25 for Christmas, and Friday January 1 for New Year's Day. Session pricing already accounts for those closures.
Do you offer before and after care?
Yes, and it is free. Early drop-off runs 8:00 – 9:00 AM and late pickup runs 3:00 – 4:00 PM, on every camp day.
Is there a showcase like the summer camps?
Yes, at 2 PM on the last day of each session rather than on a Friday, since two of the three break weeks do not end on one. That is Friday Nov 27, 2 PM, Wednesday Dec 23, 2 PM, and Thursday Dec 31, 2 PM. Families are welcome.
